Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp of Vegetable Oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp of Pine Nuts
- 2 cups Rice (washed)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Allspice
- Cinnamon
- 2 tbsps of Currants (soaked in hot water for 5 minutes)
- ½ tbsp of Sugar
- 3.5 cups of Cold Water
- Dill
- Wash and soak the rice in hot water.
- Chop the onion finely.
- Take the vegetable oil and butter into your pan.
- Add the onions and fry them until they turn pink without burning your oil.
- Add the pine nuts and continue frying.
- Add the washed and drained rice.
- Add salt, pepper, allspice and cinnamon to the rice and continue to fry.
- Add the currants and some sugar.
- After mixing well, add 3.5 cups of cold water and wait for it to boil over high heat.
- After boiling, close the lid and turn on low heat.
- After the water is soaked, add finely chopped dill and brew it for 20-30 minutes by bundling it with a tea towel or put a kitchen paper on it.
